About Me and Moon Prints
Who Am I?
My name is Laura Smith I have just completed my first year at Huddersfield university, studying a course of Interactive Multimedia (BA Hons) and I started my second year in September 2010.
I chose to undertake this course as I believe Interactive media is an integral part of our society today and includes many different uses from web page graphics and interactivity, online videos or films, 3D animated characters in movies or TV shows, all the way through to the creation of computer games, and mobile phone applications.
In my first year I was introduced to various skills using multiple software applications
While studying these modules I was able to develop my knowledge to create several pieces of work, while working on my own or whilst working as part of a team. During my second year I have decided to continue my studies in;

Moon Prints
The Moon Prints brand was born as part of a visual design branding project while studying at university. The project was to produce our own brand, that in some way says something about ourselves, using a favourite quote. The quote I used was "Don't tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon". I chose this quote because I believe that the technological revolution is continually breaking down perceived boundaries, and is therefore limitless. Thus the idea of moon prints was born.
